Sergey Pavlov, the First Deputy Managing Director of Russian Railways, has held a meeting with Zorana Mihajlović, the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Construction, Transport and Infrastructure of the Republic of Serbia.

The meeting took place on 13 December 2019 and was also attended by Alexander Botsan-Kharchenko, the Russian Ambassador to the Republic of Serbia.

During the meeting, the sides discussed the implementation of work on the current project of the Russian Railways Holding in Serbia, namely the reconstruction and construction of a second track on the Stara Pazova – Novi Sad stretch of the Belgrade – Budapest line, as well as the prospects for implementing a project under a contract signed in the past year for the further development of Serbia’s railway infrastructure and the establishment of a Unified Control Centre for train management.
