Fast suburban commuter trains with seat reservations are numbered 7001-7098.
Tickets are issued at "full" and "children's" fares.
Children aged 5 to 7 must have tickets at the "children's" fare and occupy a separate seat. The child's age is that on the first day of the trip. Tickets are not required for children under 5 years of age unless they occupy a separate seat or berth.
Tickets for fast commuter trains with seat reservations provided can be purchased 10 days before and up to the train departure if places are available in the "Express" system.
Orders for tickets on local suburban trains with seat reservations are available for 1st, 2nd and 3rd class carriages.
No more than four tickets indicating the personal data of only one passenger can be booked on one order at a time.
Tickets with seat reservations can be booked at the carrier's ticket office equipped with the Express system terminals only on the territory of the Russian Federation within departure-arrival railways of fast suburban commuter trains.
Tickets can be booked via the website from 8:00 a.m. Moscow time 10 days prior to the train's departure.
On the day of departure, tickets can be booked no later than 1 hour before the train departs from the station where the passenger boards.
Please fill in carefully all the passenger data in the order. Double check that you have entered all the necessary information correctly before commencing with the payment process.
Entering the number of the new Russian passports (PN):
- Series: four digits; number: six digits. Number of spaces does not matter.
Entering the number of USSR passports (ПС):
- Series: Roman numerals (Latin alphabet), two Cyrillic letters; number: six digits. The number of dashes and spaces does not matter.
Entering the number of foreign international passports (ЗП):
- Number: 9 digits.
Entering the number of birth certificates issued in the Russian Federation:
- Series: Roman numerals (Latin alphabet), two Cyrillic letters; number: six digits. The number of dashes and spaces does not matter.
When booking the e-tickets, a Birth Certificate is used only for the Russian Federation citizens under 14.
When entering your identity document number, the "№" [No.] symbol is not given.
Passports or birth certificates issued to foreign citizens must be entered with an indication of the type of document - a foreign document (33).
Personal passenger data must comply with the data specified in the identity document. If the personal data in your document are in two languages (Russian and the Latin alphabet), the information in the order must be entered in Russian.
In the event of an error in the personal passenger data or the identity documents, the correct information must be entered before payment. The person making the order bears full responsibility for entering the correct travel information and personal data of each passenger.
Please note that in the event of an error while entering the number of an identity document or other personal data, passenger will not be able to obtain the ticket at the ticket office.
If passenger's surname or identity document number do not correspond to those on the ticket, the passenger will not be allowed to board the train.
Ticket payments can be performed only with Visa, Visa Electron, MasterCard, Maestro international payment systems Visa International and MasterCard International. Payment by a bank card is made after the order is verified and confirmed by redirecting you to the payment gateway of the bank VTB (PJSC). You will have 12 minutes to pay and enter your bank card details. If you exceed this period, your order is cancelled.
When paying the order, the following credit card details must be entered: first name and surname of the bank card holder, card number, card expiry date and the three-digit code (CVV2 or CVC2). For further information about your credit card online transaction operations, please contact your bank.

After the payment procedure is completed, a control coupon is generated which shows the order number (which consists of 14 digits). Please make sure to print out the control coupon or remember the order number which will be used to obtain the ticket at a ticket office or from a self-service terminal.
Attention! The 14 digit order number is known to you only. The ticket cannot be issued without the control coupon or your order number.
If the control coupon is lost or you have forgotten the order number, log into "My Orders" using your password and find the order you need. Reprint the control coupon with the order details if necessary.
In accordance with Decree No. 322 issued by the Ministry of Transport of the Russian Federation on 21.08.2012, the control coupon is a document of strict liability and is used for settlements with credit cards without ticket office technical equipment.
The registration is based on the control coupon or the 14 digit order number of the passenger possessing the identification document specified in the control coupon, or to an authorised person with a notarised authorisation (copy). The notarised authorisation (copy) is given to a clerk at the ticket office.
Every ticket on the order can be obtained at a ticket office after a signature.
At the same time, all the tickets specified on the order form must be booked - partial booking is not permitted. Changes to personal passenger data on issuing tickets at a ticket office or self-service terminal are not possible.
Placing orders and obtaining tickets cannot be done when the Express system is down for technical reasons between 3:30 a.m. and 4:00 a.m. Moscow time.
Under the contract of carriage, the carrier undertakes to transport the passenger to her destination and provide her with a place on the train. The conclusion of the contract of carriage with the passenger is certified by the ticket.
When boarding the train, passengers must produce a properly completed ticket and the identity document used to acquire the ticket. The ticket should indicate the passenger's surname and the identity document number.
Boarding the train after e-registration is carried out by presenting the identity documents specified in the order form to the conductor of the carriage.
If passenger's surname or identity document number do not correspond to the surname or identity number on the ticket, the passenger will not be allowed to board the train. The fare is non-refundable.
Tickets cannot be transferred to third parties and are valid only when presenting appropriate identification documents. Ticket resales are not allowed.
Return of the unused travel document (ticket) to the fast suburban train with the provision of seats is made by the passenger at the carrier's box office located within the roads of departure and destination of the fast suburban train with the provision of seats, upon presentation of the document proving his identity, the number of which is specified in the travel document (ticket), or on the website in accordance with the established terms of return.
Users returning unused e-tickets via the web-site act on behalf of all the passengers specified on the order. Thus all the passengers are aware of the withdrawal from the journey.
Ticket orders can be returned in full. Any particular ticket on the order can also be returned.
An e-ticket refund fee will be charged. The amount of the fee is set by the carrier.
ATTENTION! As soon as the boarding pass is issued on the ticket form at the ticket office or the self-service terminal, a ticket return via the web-site is no longer possible.
If you did not undergo e-registration, the return of an unused e-ticket can be done at any time before the train departs from the passenger's boarding station (the time is indicated in the e-ticket control coupon).
If you did undergo e-registration, the return of an unused e-ticket must be done no less than one hour before the train leaves from the starting point of the route (the time is indicated in the e-ticket control coupon).
Ticket refunds on fast suburban commuter train tickets with seat reservations are credited to passenger's bank cards:
- not later than two hours before the departure of the train, as well as in case of cancellation of the train departure, the delay of the train departure for more than one hour– full ticket price;
- less than 2 hours before the departure of the train – half price.
Refunds of unused e-tickets are credited to the passenger's bank card used to pay for the e-ticket within the periods specified by the rules of the payment systems (from 7 to 30 calendar days from the moment the return was performed in your personal section of the website).
ATTENTION! In order to settle claims concerning non-receipt of funds for the returned unused e-ticket to the Bank card, you should apply with a written claim to the Bank, the cardholder of which You are.
Electronic registration for the train represents the passenger's agreement to undertake a journey on the train based on an e-ticket without receiving a ticket at the ticket office or by using the self-service or registration transaction terminal.
Electronic registration entitles the passenger to travel on the train under the identity document specified in the order.
The service applies to all trains running in the Russian domestic traffic except for trains running to Kaliningrad, Kaliningrad region and back.
Regardless of the boarding station, passengers can undertake online electronic registration on the site https://https://eng.rzd.ru no later than 1 hour before the departure of the train from the starting station on the route.
To board the train along the whole route, the passenger merely has to show the conductor of the carriage her electronic ticket (boarding pass), printed out on A4 paper or its image on the screen of a mobile device, as well as the identity document shown on the electronic ticket.
The electronic registration is performed:
- automatically during e-tickets order procedure after the "Payment" step;
- at any other time in your personal account after you refused the e-registration, but no later than an hour till the train departs from the starting point;
- both for all the passengers identified in the order and for each e-ticket in the order.
It is recommended that passengers:
- have their control coupon with them with information about the journey when boarding the train;
- do not undergo e-registration in the event that you need to present a ticket on the requisite form as a confirmation document (business trip, reimbursement of expenses, visiting waiting rooms and toilets at stations, etc.);
- take into account the time needed to make a change using different means of transport.
Physical persons booking orders acts on behalf of all the passengers specified on the order. Thus all the passengers are aware of all the terms and conditions of the journey.
On boarding trains after undergoing e-registration, passengers must presents to the conductor of the carriage the identity document specified in the ticket purchase order. If the passenger's surname or identity document number do not correspond to those on the ticket, the passenger will not be allowed to board the train.
E-registration can be cancelled no later than one hour before the train departs from the starting point of the route.
An e-registration can be cancelled in two ways:
- in the section "My Orders" with notification of the order cancellation; a cancellation of e-registration can only be performed for the whole order;
- by issuing the ticket at the ticket office or self-service terminal (or registration transaction terminal).
If the passenger withdraws from the journey and has undergone e-registration, the ticket must be issued at a ticket office or self-service terminal (or registration transaction terminal) no later than one hour before the departure, and return it in accordance with the established procedure.
Attention! If this requirement is not met, the passenger will be unable to have her ticket issued and therefore cannot return it to a ticket office for a refund.
If it is necessary to acquire a ticket, the passenger who undertook the e-registration can write a personal application to the carrier no later than 6 months from the train’s departure from the starting station of the trip. If the ticket could not be acquired at a ticket office (due to illness or accident), the passenger can within 6 months after the train’s departure from the intended boarding station write a personal application to the carrier specifying the order number, all the details of the journey and the supporting documents for the money transfer. In the event of a positive decision concerning the application, the refund will be made to the credit card with which the ticket was obtained.
