1. Rules for forming Electronic Tickets on the website

Registration of Electronic Tickets on the site is made not later than 1 hour before the train departure from the passenger boarding station.

Electronic Tickets are sold for the following trains:

      • No. 13/14 Moscow — Berlin — Moscow;
      • No. 17/18 Moscow — Nice — Moscow;
      • No. 23/24 Moscow — Paris — Moscow;
      • trains running on the route Russia - Finland;
      • No. 6 Moscow — Ulaanbaatar;
      • No. 306 Irkutsk — Ulaanbaatar;
      • non-stop wagons Moscow — Prague — Moscow;
      • trains running in the route Belarus — Poland, Belarus — Bulgaria.

Before placing an order for the purchase of an Electronic Ticket, the passengers have to authenticate themselves on the website or register. To view your order information, you need to remember your personal password.

The Electronic Tickets in case of availability in the Express system can be purchased not earlier than 60 days* before the international train departure (far-abroad countries).

The sale of tickets starts at 08:00 Moscow time.

The sale of tickets for trains running from Finland to Russia opens in Finland's railway reservation system at 04:00 Finnish time.

* The opening date of the sale may be changed during the schedule change period (the first decade of December).

The Electronic Tickets are formed at rates for carriage of adults, children, as well as free of charge for the passage of children without occupancy of a separate seat at the age specified in Section 5.

In trains of international service (far-abroad countries), Electronic Tickets are formed at Single tariffs, announced for travelling in first class and Deluxe (Business) wagons (1L; 1/1 and 1A; 1/1). Passenger who bought an Electronic Ticket at Single tariff will be travelling in a separate compartment of the first class (Deluxe (Business) wagon).

In Trains No. 13/14 Moscow — Berlin — Moscow, No. 17/18 Moscow — Nice — Moscow, No. 23/24 Moscow-Paris — Moscow — Moscow, the Electronic Tickets are formed with the use of various special and public tariff plans (full, children, children without a seat, Senior (from 60 years), Junior (12 to 25 years inclusive), Family (for two passengers in the compartment of a Deluxe wagon), Holiday (on birthday +/- 7 days), Wedding (for newlyweds within 1 month from the date of marriage in Deluxe and two-berth compartment wagons). To apply one of the special tariff plans when forming Electronic Tickets, you have to select the required tariff plan in the “Tariff Selection” field.

In one order, not more than 4 Electronic Tickets can be formed with the personal data of 4 passengers.

In order to avoid train delays, we recommend that you choose an interval of at least 3 hours between arrival and departure when making reservations for connecting trains.

Electronic Tickets cannot be bought on the website during the technological break of the Express system from 03:30 to 04:00 Moscow time (until September 30 on Tuesdays from 03:30 to 04:07 ).

Attention! The site does not allow:

      • registration of traveling for seats allocated to persons with limited mobility;
      • registration of travelling for seats allocated to passengers with animals on Allegro trains;
      • registration of travelling for seats in the meeting room wagons of 1 class of Allegro trains;
      • registration of the Electronic Tickets at the special Voyage tariff (mini-groups ranging from 2 to 5 people);
      • forming of the Electronic Tickets anew;
      • reservation of seats without paying the tariff.

When buying tickets for trains of foreign carriers operating outside the Russian Federation, wagon layouts are not displayed.

2. Specifics of forming Electronic Tickets

Seats in different types of wagons are formed as different orders, including indicating men's and women's seats (if applicable in the wagon). In one order, only one of the options can be specified - male, female or mixed. In order to avoid conflict situations on the train, the seats have to be chosen in the compartment, corresponding to the passenger gender (“male” or “female”).

Registration of Electronic Tickets for international (far abroad) travel in sleeping wagons is made in Deluxe Business, first and second class wagons:

      • Deluxe (Business) wagon is designated Deluxe, Service Class (1A; 1/2);
      • first class wagon is designated “SV”, service class (1L; 1/2);
      • second class wagon is designated:
        • “RITs”, service class (2I; 2/3) - for wagons with three-seat placement in the compartment;
        • “COUPE”, service class (2K; 2/4) and (2L; 2/4) — for wagons with four-seat placement in the compartment.

Registration for international (far-abroad countries) travel in a Deluxe (Business) class wagon is carried out simultaneously for all seats in the compartment to one passenger. If two passengers are travelling in the same compartment, the personal details of each passenger must be provided.

When registering travel on trains No. 31 Helsinki — Moscow and Allegro high-speed trains Helsinki — St. Petersburg, up to 4 people may be registered in one order at one rate. One Electronic Ticket is formed for all passengers within the order.

When placing an order for travelling in sleeping wagons of international service, the tariff includes the cost of bedding, when placing an order for travel in the first class wagons of Allegro Trains St. Petersburg — Helsinki — St. Petersburg , the tariff includes the cost of additional services.

When making an order for the purchase of an Electronic Ticket for international trains, please note that the tariff is calculated in euro and converted into rubles at the official exchange rate of the Central Bank of the Russian Federation on the day of payment.

3. Filling in passenger data

Please carefully fill in the details of all passengers in the order. Before completing the order payment, again make sure that the specified information is correct.

When filling in the ID document number, the symbol “No.” is not specified. To enter the number of the foreign passport of a citizen of the Russian Federation, 9 digits

Passport data formed to citizens of foreign countries must be entered after choosing the type of document “foreign document”

The personal data of the passenger must correspond to the data specified in the document certifying their identity. If personal data in the document are indicated in Russian and Latin letters, the information in the order is filled in Latin.

In case of an error in the personal data of passengers or details of documents proving their identity, it is necessary to enter corrected information before the payment for the order is made. The person making the order is fully responsible for the correct indication of the trip details and personal data of each passenger.

Attention! In the event of an error when entering the number of identity documents and other personal data, the passenger cannot receive a travel document at the ticket office and travel on the train.

4. Payment and receipt of Electronic Ticket

Payment for the Electronic Tickets is performed with the help of Visa, Visa Electron, MasterCard, Maestro international payment systems Visa International, MasterCard International. Payment by bank card is made after checking and confirming the order with forwarding to the payment gateway of VTB Bank (PJSC). 12 minutes are given to make a decision on payment for the order and enter the details of the bank card. In case of exceeding the specified time, the order is cancelled.

After payment for the Electronic Ticket, an Electronic Ticket control coupon is generated which contains the number of the order (14 characters) and the Electronic Ticket (14 characters). In case there is one ticket in the order, the order number and the Electronic Ticket number are the same. In case the order is made for 2-4 passengers, the order number and the Electronic Ticket number coincide for the first passenger in the order.

Be sure to print the Electronic Ticket check coupon or remember the order/Electronic Ticket number.

In accordance with Order No. 228 of the Ministry of Transport of the Russian Federation dated August 31, 2011, the control coupon is a document of strict reporting and is used to make settlements by payment cards without the use of cash registers.

Electronic Ticket control coupon without boarding coupon for travel is invalid. To receive a boarding coupon:

4.1. Electronic check-in

Electronic train check-in — the passenger's consent to travel on the train on the basis of the carriage contract confirmed by an Electronic Ticket. At electronic check-in, a boarding coupon is generated for the control coupon of the Electronic Ticket.

Electronic check-in is possible for trains:

      • No. 13/14 Moscow — Berlin — Moscow;
      • No. 17/18 Moscow — Nice — Moscow;
      • No. 23/24 Moscow — Paris — Moscow;
      • No. 6 Moscow — Ulaanbaatar;
      • No. 306 Irkutsk — Ulaanbaatar;
      • non-stop wagons Moscow — Prague — Moscow;
      • travelling on the route Russia — Finland.

Attention! Trains in which electronic check-in (registration) service operates, in the reference information, have the sign of “ER”.

Electronic check-in is performed:

      • if ER sign is available;
      • during the procedure of ordering Electronic Tickets after the Payment step, at the same time for all passengers specified in the order;
      • again at any other time in the personal account;
      • both for all passengers listed in the order and for individual Electronic Tickets in the order.

Cancellation of the electronic check-in service (refusal) is carried out not later than 1 hour before the train departure from the route starting station:

      • on the website in the personal account;
      • by obtaining a travel document at the international ticket office in the territory of the Russian Federation.

Attention! If the User has passed electronic check-in and wishes to return the Electronic Ticket less than 1 hour before the train departure from the route starting station and more than 6 hours before the train departure from the boarding station, the unused Electronic Ticket is returned via a claim procedure.

4.2. Receipt of travel document at international ticket office and self-service terminal

If you have not used the electronic check-in service or the electronic check-in service is not provided for the train you have chosen for boarding the train it is necessary to obtain a travel document in the territory of the Russian Federation at the international ticket office equipped with the terminal of the Express system or in the self-service terminal.

Attention! Be sure to print the control coupon or remember the number of the Electronic Ticket (14 digits), which can be used for issuing a boarding coupon on the form of the travel document.

If the control coupon is lost or you have forgotten the number of the Electronic Ticket, enter the My orders Section under your login and find the necessary order. If necessary, print it again.

Registration of boarding coupons (travel documents) is made on the basis of a control coupon or Electronic Ticket/order number (14 digits), for one of the passengers of the order based on the document certifying his/her identity as indicated in the Electronic Ticket, or to a proxy on the basis of a power of attorney or a notarized copy thereof. The original power of attorney or notarized copy is given to the ticket cashier.

At the ticket office, you can obtain travel documents for the entire order as a whole or for specific Electronic Tickets of the order.

On the Electronic Tickets formed in one order for several passengers on one tariff in Finland—Russia, one travel document is printed at the ticket office or in self-service terminals with information about the first passenger.

Attention! In the self-service terminal, travel documents are formed for the entire order as a whole.

It is prohibited to make changes in personal data of passengers when issuing boarding coupons at the ticket office or using a self-service terminal.

5. Registration of children travel

Travelling of unaccompanied children is prohibited. The child's age is determined on the day the trip starts.

When traveling in trains: No. 13/14 Moscow — Berlin — Moscow, 17/18 Moscow-Nice — Moscow, No. 23/24 Moscow — Paris — Moscow, No. 6 Moscow — Ulaanbaatar, No. 306 Irkutsk — Ulaanbaatar and in non-stop wagons Moscow — Prague — Moscow:

      • a passenger may travel with one child not older than 4 years free of charge, unless a child occupies a separate seat. In this case, a free Electronic Ticket is formed for the child without taking a seat in one order with an Electronic Ticket at the tariff for carriage of an adult passenger.
      • if the passenger has not formed an Electronic Ticket for a child under 4 years without a seat, it is possible to obtain a free travel document at the ticket office, after producing an Electronic Ticket (travel document), paid at the tariff for the carriage of an adult passenger;
      • for a child under 4 years, at the passenger request, it is possible to form an Electronic Ticket with a seat at the rate for children carriage in one order with an Electronic Ticket at the tariff for carriage of an adult passenger;
      • if one or more children between 4 and 12 years are travelling for each child, it is necessary to form an Electronic Ticket at the rate for children carriage in one order with an Electronic Ticket at the tariff for carriage of an adult passenger;
      • for children who are 12 years old and older, it is necessary to form Electronic Tickets at the rate for carriage of an adult passenger.

When traveling in trains: No. 13/14 Moscow — Berlin — Moscow, 17/18 Moscow — Nice — Moscow, No. 23/24 Moscow — Paris — Moscow

      • if the day of the trip start coincides with the birthday of the child who turns 4 years old, then the child is travelling free of charge (if he/she does not occupy a separate seat);
      • if the day of the trip start coincides with the birthday of the child who turns 12 years old, travel documents are formed at the child tariff;
      • if a passenger bought a ticket in a Deluxe (Business) wagon at the Adult-Single tariff, he/she may travel with not more than two children under 12 years free of charge (in wagons of train Strizh No. 13/14 Moscow-Berlin — not more than one child under 12 years, the rule is valid from December 10, 2017) (up to that age);
      • If two jointly travelling adult passengers have bought a ticket in a Deluxe (Business) class wagon at the Family tariff, they may travel with not more than two children under 4 years free of charge or one child under 12 years old (up to that age) (in train Strizh No. 13/14 Moscow - Berlin - not more than two children under 4 years old);
      • for each child, travelling free of charge, in the Russian Federation, it is necessary to form a free travel document. In the website it is possible to form free travel documents for travelling of children on the specified trains only under 4 years old;
      • if the passenger has not formed an Electronic Ticket for a child under 4 years (12 years old) without a seat, it is possible to obtain a free travel document at the international ticket office in the territory of the Russian Federation after producing an Electronic Ticket (boarding coupon on the form of the travel document), paid at the tariff for carriage of an adult passenger.

Registration of travel documents for children in the Single 1/1 category is not made.

Travelling of children to and from Finland

      • A passenger may travel with one child not older than 6 years free of charge, unless he/she occupies a separate seat. In this case, a free Electronic Ticket is formed for the child without taking a seat in one order with an Electronic Ticket at the tariff for carriage of an adult passenger.
      • if the passenger has not formed an Electronic Ticket for a child under 6 years without a seat, it is possible to obtain a free travel document at the ticket office after producing an Electronic Ticket (travel document), paid at the tariff for the carriage of an adult passenger;
      • for a child under 6 years, at the passenger request, it is possible to form an Electronic Ticket with a seat at the rate for children carriage in one order with an Electronic Ticket at the tariff for carriage of an adult passenger;
      • if one or more children from 6 to 17 years are travelling, for each child it is necessary to form an Electronic Ticket at the rate for children carriage in one order with an Electronic Ticket at the tariff for carriage of an adult passenger;
      • For children of 17 years and older, Electronic Tickets are formed at the adult passenger tariff.
      • If a passenger travels in a Deluxe (Business) wagon at the Adult-Single tariff, he/she may travel with not more than 2 children aged 6 years and under, for whom a free travel document is formed in the Russian Federation, free of charge. Outside the Russian Federation, the registration of free travel documents for the carriage of children is not required.

Two jointly travelling passengers, who bought tickets at an adult tariff for travelling in the Deluxe (Business) wagon compartment, may travel with one child at the age of not older than 6 years free of charge, for which a free travel document is formed in the Russian Federation. Outside the Russian Federation, it is not necessary to form a free travel document for the carriage of children.

If the passenger has not formed an Electronic Ticket for a child under 6 years without a seat, it is possible to obtain a free travel document at the international ticket office in the territory of the Russian Federation after producing an Electronic Ticket (boarding coupon on the form of the travel document), paid at the tariff for carriage of an adult passenger.

      • if the day of the trip start coincides with the birthday of the child who turns 6 years old, then the child is travelling free of charge (if he/she does not take a separate seat);
      • if the day of the trip start coincides with the birthday of the child who turns 17 years old, travel documents are formed at the child tariff;

On trains running on the route Belarus — Poland, Belarus — Bulgaria children are travelling in accordance with the Special Conditions of International Carriage (SCIC) for carriages with travel tickets on the East—West (EWT) route.

6. Customs and other rules

Passengers are obliged to comply with passport and administrative (including visa), customs and other rules established when traveling by international railways, in relation to themselves, and in relation to their hand baggage, baggage and goods baggage. The Carrier may not control the compliance with these rules, except as established by international agreements in railway transport, and is not responsible for failure to comply with these rules by the passenger.

Before buying a ticket for the international travelling, please obtain information on the procedure for crossing the state border (including transit countries) in the relevant competent executive bodies or consular departments of the respective embassies.

When children under 18 years travel by international railways, the passenger must have the necessary documents to cross the state border, including notarized consent of parents (guardians, trustees) to cross the border of the Russian Federation.

7. Passenger boarding the train

Boarding the train after completing the procedure of electronic check-in:

        • on trains No. 13/14 Moscow — Berlin — Moscow, 17/18 Moscow — Nice — Moscow, No. 23/24 Moscow — Paris — Moscow and trains running in the Russia-Finland route is carried out upon presentation of a boarding coupon of an Electronic Ticket on paper (A4 format) or the screen of a mobile device and an identity document which number is indicated in the Electronic Ticket;
        • on train No. 6 Moscow — Ulaanbaatar, No. 306 Irkutsk — Ulaanbaatar and in non-stop wagons Moscow — Prague — Moscow is carried out upon presentation to the wagon conductor of an Electronic Ticket (boarding coupon) paper (A4 format) and the identity document of the passenger specified in the Electronic Ticket.

Attention! If you have cancelled the electronic check-in service by receiving a travel document at the ticket office or self-service terminal, you must present it when boarding the train.

Boarding the train with a travel document:

      • boarding is carried out upon presentation of a travel document and an identity document, on the basis of which the Electronic Ticket was formed.

If the name of the passenger or the number of the identity document does not correspond to the surname or number specified in the Electronic Ticket, the passenger is not allowed to board the train.

Electronic Tickets are not subject to transfer to other persons and are valid only when presenting the relevant identity documents of the passenger. Electronic Ticket resale is not allowed.

8. Return of unused Electronic Ticket

The money due for an unused Electronic Ticket is credited to the bank card by which the payment of the Electronic Ticket was made, within the deadlines established by the rules of payment systems (from 7 to 30 calendar days from the date of registration of the return).

When returning tickets, there will be a fee (per seat):

      • on trains running on the route Russia — Finland, No. 13/14 Moscow — Berlin — Moscow, 17/18 Moscow — Nice — Moscow, No. 23/24 Moscow — Paris — Moscow and non-stop wagons Moscow — Prague Moscow in the amount of 10 euro;
      • for trains No. 6 Moscow — Ulaanbaatar, No. 306 Irkutsk — Ulaanbaatar in the amount of 5 Swiss francs.

The fee is charged in Russian rubles at the rate of the Central Bank of Russia on the day of return. No return fee is charged for unused non-cash Electronic Tickets formed for children without a seat.

Attention! To settle a claim regarding non-receipt of a returned unused Electronic Ticket to your bank card, you should contact your cardholder's bank with a written claim.

The Moscow time applies to the railways in Russia and local time in other countries.

8.1. Return of an unused Electronic Ticket on the website in the client's personal account

The return is possible as for the whole order and for a specific Electronic Ticket from the order.

Electronic Tickets formed for several passengers in one order at one tariff in Finland — Russia are subject to return in full. There is no partial return of such Electronic Tickets.

The return of one ticket out of two tickets in Deluxe wagons (Business) registered in one compartment is not allowed. The cost of unused Electronic Tickets formed for one compartment of Deluxe class wagon (Business) is returned only when all seats are from the compartment are returned.

Attention! The return of an unused Electronic Ticket before train departure is not possible on the website after the passenger receives a boarding coupon on the form of the travel document at the ticket office or self-service terminal (see Clause 8.2).

If you have not used the electronic check-in service, an unused Electronic Ticket for the train of international communication (far-abroad countries) has to be returned not later than 6 hours prior to the train departure from the passenger's boarding station.

If you have used the electronic check-in service, an unused Electronic Ticket for the train of international communication (far abroad) has to be returned not later than 6 hours prior to the train departure from the passenger boarding station, but not later than 1 hour before the train departure from the route starting station.

Attention! When returning an Electronic Ticket with electronic check-in formed for international (far-abroad countries) travel, more than 6 hours prior to the train departure from the passenger boarding station (local time) and less than 1 hour prior to the train departure from the route starting station, the unused Electronic Ticket is returned via a claim procedure. At the same time, the passenger must present, within the deadlines established for the return, a printout of an Electronic Ticket to the international ticket office to put a mark on the failure to use it, indicating the number, year and time (hours, minutes) of the passenger's application.

When making a return of an unused Electronic Ticket formed for international (far-abroad countries) travel on the website , the following sums are credited to the bank card:

      • not later than 6 hours before the train departure from the boarding station of the passenger - full tariff (withholding the return fee).
      • less than 6 hours prior to train departure indicated in the travel document, no return is made.

8.2. The return of an unused Electronic Ticket at the ticket office (in accordance with the deadlines set for the return)

In case the passenger received a boarding coupon on the form of the travel document, the return is made at the ticket office upon presentation by the passenger of this form and identity document.

The return of money for unused Electronic Tickets is made only in the territory of the Russian Federation.

The return is possible as for the whole order and for a specific Electronic Ticket from the order.

The unused Electronic Ticket is returned at the international ticket office in the territory of the Russian Federation, which accepts returned tickets, upon presentation of control coupon or the Electronic Ticket/order number and identification document of the passenger which number is listed on the Electronic Ticket.

The return of one ticket from the two formed in the Deluxe (Business) class compartment is not made. The cost of unused Electronic Tickets formed for in a Deluxe (Business) wagon is returned only in case of simultaneous presentation to the international ticket office of Electronic Tickets formed for one compartment.

When making a return of an unused Electronic Ticket formed for international (far-abroad countries) travel at the ticket office, the following sums are credited to the bank card:

      • not later than 6 hours prior to the train departure — the total tariff (withholding the return fee).
      • less than 6 hours prior to the train departure from the passenger boarding station — no return is made.

Attention! When returning an Electronic Ticket with electronic check-in at the ticket office less than 1 hour prior to the train departure from the route starting station and more than 6 hours prior to the train departure from the passenger boarding station, the return for unused Electronic Ticket is carried out via a claim procedure, while the passenger must present, within the deadlines established for the return, a printed Electronic Ticket to the international ticket office to put a mark on the failure to use it, indicating the number, month, year and time (hours, minutes) of the passenger's application.

The return of an unused Electronic Ticket at the ticket offices in the territory of the European States is not carried out. At ticket offices in the territory of the European States, for a travel document paid through the website and unused, formed on the established form, a mark is put on the failure to use it, indicating the date (date, month, year) and time (hours, minutes) of the passenger's application. To credit the money due for an unused travel document, you have to contact the international ticket office in the territory of the Russian Federation within 9 months from the date of departure specified in the travel document, provide an application and an unused travel document with the appropriate mark.

The passenger's application is considered within 180 days from the date of receipt.

9. Carriage of dogs, small pets and birds

9.1. When traveling in trains: No. 13/14 Moscow — Berlin — Moscow, 17/18 Moscow — Nice — Moscow, No. 23/24 Moscow — Paris — Moscow

A passenger is allowed to carry dogs, small pets and birds in sleeping wagons of any class, including Deluxe (Business) wagons, subject to payment for all seats in compartment. The seats not occupied by passengers in the compartment are to be paid at the full (adult) tariff. It is the passenger's responsibility to comply with the customs and administrative regulations for transporting animals.

A passenger is also allowed to carry dogs, small pets and birds after paying for a separate first class compartment at the Single tariff.

It is allowed to transport not more than one dog or not more than one cage with animals per the compartment.

There is no additional charge for the carriage of dogs, small pets and birds.

Carriage of animals is not allowed if there is no possibility of providing a separate compartment for their carriage.

Carriage of dogs, small pets and birds in seating wagons is prohibited.

Carriage of animals, except for dogs, small (indoor) pets and birds is prohibited.

9.2. When traveling in train Lev Tolstoy No. 32 Moscow — Helsinki and additional trains of JSC FPK Moscow — Helsinki

the carriage of animals is allowed only in a separate compartment, subject to payment for all seats in the compartment. The seats not occupied by passengers in the compartment are to be paid at the full (adult) tariff.

In one compartment, a passenger may carry not more than:

      • two dogs, each with a lead, or
      • two cages with animals or
      • one dog with a lead and one cage with animals.

The cage size is not to exceed 60x45x25 cm. It is allowed to transport several animals in one cage.

Attention! A passenger may carry pets if their carriage is not prohibited by veterinary, customs or other regulations of the Russian Federation and the Republic of Finland.

9.3. When travelling in Allegro high-speed trains

The registration of the carriage of pets is made only at international ticket offices to designated seats.

9.4. When travelling in non-stop wagons Moscow — Prague — Moscow

From February 21, 2020, the carriage of animals in non-stop wagons Moscow — Prague — Moscow is carried from/to stations in Russia, Belarus and Poland.

The passenger is allowed to carry dogs in 1 and 2 class wagons (except business class wagons), subject to payment for all seats in the compartment. The seats not occupied by passengers in the compartment are to be paid at the full (adult) tariff.

Small, non-threatening pets (including cats and dogs of small breeds) may be carried in suitable carriage, on account of the hand baggage allowance, in the seats designated for hand baggage, without having to buy out all the seats in the compartment. Such animals are carried free of charge.

It is allowed to carry not more than one large dog in the compartment or one vehicle per passenger. A maximum of two small pets, including dogs of small breeds, may be placed in one conveyance.

From February 21, 2020, carriage of dogs and small pets from/to the stations of the Czech Republic is prohibited. The exceptions are guide and assistant dogs accompanying disabled passengers.

Guide and assistant dogs to/from Czech stations can be transported in a separate compartment when paying for all seats in the compartment. There is no charge for the carriage of guide and assistant dogs.

JSC ChD does not prevent the travelling of passenger with the animal from and to the stations of the Czech Republic based on travel documents formed before February 20, 2020.

9.5. When traveling in train No. 6 Moscow — Ulaanbaatar, train No. 306 Irkutsk — Ulaanbaatar

Passenger may carry animals (dogs, cats, birds) in a special container according to the standard of hand baggage on the seats intended for placing hand baggage without paying for all seats in the compartment. Animals without containers are not allowed for carriage.

Dogs not placed in special containers, if there is a muzzle and a lead, have to be transported by the passenger in a separate carriage compartment (not more than two dogs in one compartment). At the same time, the passenger is obliged to pay the cost of travel documents at the full tariff for the number of unoccupied seats in the compartment. The fee for each dog carried in a passenger wagon is half the cost of the tariff (ticket) in a 2nd class carriage (to be booked at the ticket office only).

If the railways may not provide a separate compartment for the carriage of animals, such carriage is not allowed.

9.6. When traveling in trains on the route Belorussia — Poland, Belorussia — Bulgaria

Pets are transported under the Special Conditions of International Carriage (SCIC) for carriages with travel tickets on the East—West (EWT)route.

The registration of the carriage of pets is made only at international ticket offices.
