Russian Railways sold the property complex of the former freight yard of the Yekaterinburg-Tovarny station for 3.8 billion rubles
An open auction was held for the sale of the property complex of the former freight yard of the Yekaterinburg-Tovarny station to JSC "Russian Railways". It is located on 17.5 hectares in the central part of Yekaterinburg and includes 63 objects of non-residential, industrial, and warehouse real estate.
Freight work at the facility was stopped by the decision of the Federal Agency for Railway Transport in 2014 and redistributed to other stations of the Yekaterinburg transport hub.
The sale price was 3.8 billion rubles with an initial cost of 2.3 billion rubles. The winner was recognized as LLC "Specialized developer "Sinara-Development".
"The microdistrict is promising for residential and public-business development in accordance with the best practices of creating a comfortable urban environment. For us, this is the most anticipated and largest transaction of 2021 for non-core property, " said Alexander Plutnik, Deputy General Director of Russian Railways.
