Russian Railways to lay on additional Sapsan trains in May 2020

Due to the demand for transportation between Moscow and St. Petersburgand the need to comply with social distancing on board, Russian Railways will be laying on additional Sapsan trains on separate calendar dates in May in accordance with the following timetable:

Passengers planning a trip up to 28 May 2020 inclusive should remember that the high-speed Sapsan trains are currently operating temporary seating arrangements in the carriages. The temporary seating plans depend on thecarriage configurations: 2+2 or 3+2. In the two-seater row, the passenger sits at a window seat, in the three-seater row, one passenger sits at the window and another takes the aisle seat, while the middle row remains unoccupied. The carriage conductor will try to accommodate families travelling together in adjacent seats.
