Temporary suspension of international services with Ukraine and Moldova

In accordance with the announcements of Ukrainian and Moldovan Railways on the suspension of railservices in order to prevent the spread of the new coronavirus infection (2019-nCoV), internationalpassenger trains, carriages and direct carriages have been suspended from 17 March 2020 until furthernotice.

An announcement will be made when services resume.

As a result, the following trains have been temporarily cancelled:

  • No. 65/66 Moscow - Chisinau (Federal Passenger Company) departing from Moscow from 16March and from Chisinau from 18 March;
  • No. 5/6 Moscow - Kiev (Ukrainian Railways) departing from Kiev from 15 March and fromMoscow from 16 March;
  • No. 23/24 Moscow - Odessa (Ukrainian Railways) departing from Odessa from 15 March andfrom Moscow from 16 March;
  • No. 61/62 Moscow - Nikolaev (Ukrainian Railways) departing from Nikolaev from 16 March andfrom Moscow from 17 March, including direct carriages between Kherson - Moscow departingfrom Kherson from 16 March and from Moscow from 17 March;
  • No. 73/74 Moscow - Lviv (Ukrainian Railways) departing from Lviv from 16 March and fromMoscow from 17 March, including trailer carriages between Khmelnitsky - Moscow departingfrom Khmelnitsky from 16 March and from Moscow from 17 March;
  • No. 95/96 Moscow – Krivoi Rog (Ukrainian Railways) departing from Krivoi Rog from 15 Marchand from Moscow from 16 March, including direct carriages between Dnipro - Moscow andbetween Poltava - Moscow departing from Dnipro and from Poltava from 15 March, as well asfrom Moscow from 16 March;
  • No. 53/54 St. Petersburg - Kiev (Ukrainian Railways) departing from Kiev from 15 March andfrom St. Petersburg from 16 March, including direct carriages between Kharkiv - St. Petersburgand Dnipro - St. Petersburg departing from Kharkiv and Dnipro from 15 March and from St.Petersburg from 16 March;
  • No. 47/48 Moscow - Chisinau (Moldavan Railways) departing from Chisinau from 15 March andfrom Moscow from 16 March;
  • No. 341/342 Moscow - Chisinau (Moldavan Railways) departing from Chisinau from 14 Marchand from Moscow from 16 March;
  • No. 361/362 St. Petersburg - Chisinau (Moldavan Railways), departing from Chisinau from 15March and from St. Petersburg from 17 March, including direct carriages between Grodno-St.Petersburg departing from Grodno from 16 March and from St. Petersburg from 17 March.

Cancellations occur on different dates in accordance with the timetable of each train.

Passengers can obtain refunds from the railway ticket offices in the country where the tickets werepurchased. Passengers can return electronic tickets via the web resources through which they bookedthe tickets.

Detailed information on the procedure for receiving refunds for unused tickets can be obtained from the24-hour Unified Information Service Centre of Russian Railways on 8 (800) 775-00-00 for calls fromwithin Russia and on + 7 (499) 605-20-00 when calling from abroad.
