Temporary restrictions on the rail link with Nice
In accordance with Order No. 60 issued by the Federal Railway Transport Agency (ROSELDOR) on 27 February 2020, passenger train No. 17/18 Moscow - Nice with trailer carriages running between Moscow - Brest will be temporarily suspended from 5 March 2020 in order to prevent the spread of the coronavirus infection to the territory of the Russian Federation.
The Federal Railway Transport Agency will announce the resumption of the service in due course.
Unused tickets for cancelled trains and trailer carriages can be returned without incurring any additional charges or fees.
Passengers must apply for refunds at the place where they purchased the tickets. In the event that a passenger withdraws from travel on the territory of a foreign state, i.e. where she does not have citizenship, she should contact the railway ticket office and have a special stamp placed on the ticket which marks the cancellation of the train for the subsequent refund operation.
Passengers can obtain detailed information on the procedure for receiving refunds for unused tickets and the movement of trains from the 24-hour lines of the Single Information and Service Centre of Russian Railways by calling 8 (800) 775-00-00 from Russia and + 7 (499) 605-20-00 from abroad.
Passengers should note that these restrictions do not apply to other international train services between Moscow and Paris or Berlin. These trains will continue to run.
