Business centres with new design to open at 17 Russian railway stations in 2020
In 2020, Russian Railways will expand the list of stations which offer services at business centres with a new design.
The new concept of the development of waiting rooms is being implemented at the largest stations in order to improve the quality of service for passengers and visitors.
The first business centres featuring the new design were opened at the Leningrad and Moscow stations of Moscow and St. Petersburg in late 2019.
This year, their number will expand to 19, with centres planned at Kiev and Paveletsky stations in Moscow and at stations in Yekaterinburg, Volgograd, Nizhny Novgorod, Sochi, Rostov-on-Don, Ivanov, Vologda, Yaroslavl, Ulan-Ude, Novosibirsk, Petrozavodsk, Kazan, Ufa, Vladivostok and Khabarovsk.
The new business centre design incorporates a lounge and work area and a buffet or à la carte food area, as well as sanitary and amenity facilities.
The list of services provided has been devised after taking into account the requirements of passengers and technological capabilities. The design of the business centres also takes into account all the architectural features of the station complex.
Visitors to the new business centres will be able to hold talks or an official meeting with business partners in a specially equipped room, while younger travellers will be able to have a good time in specially organised children’s game corners.
