Cooperation with Patentes Talgo S.L.

In order to increase the efficiency of passenger services and the introduction of innovative technologies, Russian Railways is implementing a project to commission passenger trains by the Spanish company Patentes Talgo S.L.

At the end of December 2016, four trains produced by Patentes Talgo entered commercial operation on the Moscow-Berlin route. These trains operate under the name Strizh and are equipped with technology for automatically changing the width of the bogie wheels

Four trains also continue to run between Moscow and Nizhny Novgorod.
