The ES2G Lastochka electric train with asynchronous traction motors is designed to carry passengers on railways with a gauge of 1,520 mm in suburban and regional transportation. The flexibility of the internal layout allows the optimal adaptation of the electric train to the various operation requirements:

  • Electric train type - ES2G Standard / ES2G Premium;
  • Constructional speed, km / h - 160;
  • Rated voltage on the current collector, kV (Hz) - 3;
  • Main compositeness - 5;
  • Power, kW - 2 932;
  • Traction force, kN - 280;
  • Load from wheelset on rails, kN - 186;
  • Length, m - 130;
  • Width, mm - 3 480;
  • The number of seats – 368, 4 places for wheelchairs, 18 folding seats, 427 standing places / 326 seats, 2 places for wheelchairs.

In comparison with car and airline transport, transport by "Lastochka" trains is associated with lower environmental impacts2:
