South Ural Railways

Operating length – 4,806.6 km.

South Ural Railways services Chelyabinsk, Kurgan, Orenburg, Kuibyshev, Saratov and Sverdlovsk Oblasts, the Republic of Bashkortostan and northern Kazakhstan.

Head Office is located in Chelyabinsk. Major industrial centres lie along the line: Chelyabinsk, Magnitogorsk, Miass, Zlatoust, Orenburg, Orsk, Novotroitsk, Mednogorsk and Kurgan. South Ural Railways is the first link in the Trans-Siberian Railway.
