Sverdlovsk Railway

Operating length – 7,153.8 km.

Sverdlovsk Railway serves Perm Krai, Sverdlovsk and Tyumen Oblasts and the Khanty-Mansi and Yamal-Nenets Autonomous Districts.

It is managed from its headquarters in Yekaterinburg. Sverdlovsk Railways is used by over 12,000 enterprises, accounts for 10% of Russia’s total rail network loading volume, including vital goods such as oil, nonferrous metals, timber and construction materials, and serves nearly 400 km of access roads.
