Foreign investors show interest in Russian Railways’ stake in Transcontainer

A lot of companies, including foreign ones, are showing interest in buying the stake of Russian Railways holds in Transcontainer cargo operator, Deputy Prime Minister Maxim Akimov told reporters.

"I know that many companies, several large players, are willing to take part in this transaction. We will welcome it," he said.

"There are applications from foreign participants," he noted.

"If we arrange the sale correctly, that means that it is open, competitive, without artificial limitation of the line-up of participants, it is clear that we can get a good financial result," the Deputy Prime Minister said.
