Allegro trains offer discounts of up to 44% in February 2019

Russian Railways is offering passengers planning to make a return journey from Russia to Finland a special offer. Passengers purchasing tickets for the Allegro high-speed international services between St. Petersburg – Helsinki - St. Petersburg will be able to obtain them at a reduced fixed cost.

Second-class tickets on high-speed Allegro trains, for example, will cost just 39 euros, while first-class tickets will be 69 euros. These fares are between 34% and 44% less than the normal price of tickets for individual services.

This special offer applies only when buying tickets for Allegro trains departing on Tuesdays between 1 and 29 February 2020.

Passengers can take advantage of the special action subject to booking their tickets during the period from 9 to 22 December 2019.

The promotion only applies to individual passengers and is invalid for organised groups.

Passengers can buy tickets at the special prices now at the ticket offices of the Directorate of High-speed Communications of Russian Railways and railway stations and agencies which work with international trains, as well as online on the official website of Russian Railways and through the RZD Passengers mobile app.

When selling tickets, payments are made in roubles at the rate set by the Central Bank of Russia on the day the tickets are booked.

Further details about the Allegro timetable and fares can be found on the official website of Russian Railways and obtained from the toll-free number 8 (800) 775-00-00.
