Train 17/18 Moscow – Nice to travel along modified route in December due to repair work in Italy

Due to repair work on the rail infrastructure in Italy, the route of train No. 17/18 Moscow to Nice will be changed on 26 December 2019, with the train departing from Moscow in accordance with the timetable and travelling only as far as Genoa station.

Passengers who have booked tickets to San Remo, Menton, Monaco, Monte Carlo and Nice stations will be transported to their destinations by road.

On the return journey from Genoa, the train will depart on 29 December and will proceed to Moscow in accordance with the timetable.

Passengers who have managed to book tickets from the stations located on the Nice – Genoa stretch will be transported by road to Genoa, after which they will be able to continue their journey by train.

We apologise to passengers for any inconvenience caused.

Information about the train timetable can be obtained by calling the Russian Railways Unified Information and Service Centre on 8 (800) 775-00-00.

Passengers should bear in mind that when booking a ticket at a ticket office of the Federal Passenger Company, a subsidiary of Russian Railways, or through the website of the Russian Railways and the mobile app RZD Passengers, they can leave their mobile numbers in order to receive notifications of possible delays and timetable changes in the event of emergencies.
