Tickets for Sapsan departures on 1 September 2019 can be purchased at reduced fixed price
Passengers who are planning to travel on high-speed Sapsans train on 1 September 2019 can purchase tickets at reduced fixed prices.
This special action marks the Day of Knowledge and applies to all Sapsan trains running between Moscow, St. Petersburg and Nizhny Novgorod.
The ticket price will be determined only by the class of service and the choice of seat category and will not be affected by the train’s occupancy rate and the number of days before its departure.
The minimum cost of tickets between St. Petersburg – Moscow will therefore be from 1,860 roubles (including the cost of travel in the base class). Passengers who depart for Nizhny Novgorod from St. Petersburg can buy tickets in the base class for 2,589 roubles and for Nizhny Novgorod from Moscow from 1,026 roubles.
Tickets at special prices now can be booked at all long-distance ticket offices, as well as online on the official website of OJSC Russian Railways and the RZD Passengers mobile app.
Detailed information about Sapsan timetables and ticket costs can be obtained from the section "Passengers" on the website of OJSC Russian Railways and by free phone 8 (800) 775-00-00.
