Grants worth 7.6 million roubles made to 20 families to improve housing conditions during January-August 2018
Over 90 railway staff families in the Omsk region of West Siberian Railways have seen improved housing conditions since the beginning of this year due to support from Russian Railways.
During January to August, grants worth 7.6 million roubles were awarded to 20 families to improve their housing conditions, including two large families who received two million roubles each, while the other 18 families received grants of 200,000 roubles for each child born during their mortgage payments.
Another 74 families of Omsk railway workers received subsidised mortgage loans to purchase housing in the amount of 128 million roubles, including 26 families of young railway specialists.
The Company’s provision of such corporate support is the main direction for improving the living conditions of railway workers and consists in Russian Railways paying the main portion of the accrued interest on a mortgage.
Russian Railways pays particular attention to large families, as well as to single parents raising children, reports the corporate communications service at West Siberian Railways.
