Russian Railways to lay on additional Sapsan trains during March 2016 holidays

In order to improve the quality of passenger services and meet the demand for transport between Moscow - St. Petersburg - Moscow, Russian Railways will lay on two additional pairs of Sapsan trains on 4 and 8 March 2016:

  • 761 Saint Petersburg – Moscow, departing from St. Petersburg at 11:00 and arriving in Moscow at 14:50;
  • 763 Saint Petersburg – Moscow, departing from St. Petersburg at 11:10 and arriving in Moscow at 15:00;
  • 766 Moscow – St. Petersburg, departing from Moscow at 13:30 and arriving in St. Petersburg at 17:30;
  • 774 Moscow - St. Petersburg, departing from Moscow at 17:30 and arriving in St. Petersburg at 21:20.

Tickets for these trains will go on sale in the near future at all long-distance railway ticket offices and on the official website of Russian Railways.

The timetable of the high-speed Sapsan train provides for 11 pairs of trains, two pairs of which are double formations with 20 instead of the usual 10 carriages.
