Russian Railways celebrates record growth in loading coal in Kuzbass

On Wednesday, 18 November 2015, 9,412 wagons containing 656,000 tons were dispatched to customers from coal-loading stations in the Kuzbass region of West Siberian Railways. This set a new record of 200 wagons more than the previous record from 1 August 2014, when 9,212 railway wagons were loaded in the Kuzbass.
The new record was achieved by cooperation on loading between all the participants in the transportation process, including coal miners, rolling stock owners and the railways.
Since the beginning of November 2015, an average of 8,597 wagons a day have been loaded at stations in the Kuzbass region, up from 8,414 wagons per day during November in 2014.
The largest shippers in the region account for most of the growth in loading: OJSC SUEK-Kuzbass, OJSC Kyzbassrazrezygol, CJSC Holding Company SDS-Ugol, JSC Raspadskaya Coal Company, Coal Company Zarechnaya LLC.
