Russian Railways to lay on doubled Allegro trains during New Year holidays

In order to meet the increased demand for transportation between Russia and Finland during the New Year holidays, OJSC Russian Railways will be putting on doubled high-speed international Allegro trains between St. Petersburg and Helsinki.

These trains will have double the usual number of carriages, thus increasing the capacity twofold without having to make any changes to the timetable.

The following doubled Allegro trains will be running from 29 December 2018 to 3 January 2019, as well as on 8 January:

We remind passengers that a special New Year discount of up to 25% is available on tickets for Allegro trains No. 785 departing on 29 December 2018 and No. 783 departing from 30 December 2018 to 3 January 2019.

Tickets for Allegro double trains are already on sale at railway ticket offices and through the official website and the "Passengers" mobile app of Russian Railways.

When selling tickets, settlements are made in roubles at the exchange rate set by the Central Bank of Russia on the day the tickets are booked.

Detailed information about the Allegro timetable and fares can be obtained from the "Passengers" section of the official website of Russian Railways or by calling 8 (800) 775-00-00, which is toll free when calling from inside the Russian Federation.
