Timetable changes to train 23/24 Moscow - Paris

In connection with repair work and the closure of traffic on the section between
Strasbourg - Karlsruhe, the timetable for train No. 23/452-453/24 Moscow-Paris operated
by the Federal Passenger Company, a subsidiary of Russian Railways, has been temporarily
changed.
The train will follow the changed route and timetable via the Saarbrücken
- Forbach border crossing instead of Kehl - Strasbourg until early October 2017.
In connection with these changes, tickets to Karlsruhe and Strasbourg stations
will not be on sale from 13 September to 8 October 2017.

Passengers already issued with tickets for this train to Karlsruhe and Strasbourg
stations will transported to and from these stations by alternative routes.
During the repair work, train 24/453 Paris - Moscow will depart from Paris Est
station at 18:58 in accordance with the timetable and arrive at Forbach station at
23:31 instead of Strasbourg after taking an alternative route.
Train 24/453 Paris - Moscow will depart from Forbach station in accordance with
the timetable of the bus which has been designated for the transportation of the train’s
passengers between the cities.
Passengers can also arrive at Strasbourg from Forbach by taking the regional trains
and changing at Metz station.
Passengers with tickets to/from Karlsruhe station will be able to change to train
No. 23/452-453/24 Moscow-Paris at Manheim Hauptbahnhof (Hbf – Mannheim Main
Station) when travelling in both directions.
Passengers can also reach Manheim Hbf by regional trains.
The numbers of regional trains on which tickets for the 24/453 Paris-Moscow train
will be valid and the time of their departure will be notified to the passengers separately
by Deutsche Bahn and SNCF (French Railways).
