Earth Hour to be held at Russian railway stations

All stations which are part of the Russian Railways' network will take part in Earth Hour on 19 March 2016.

Earth Hour is an annual international event designed to draw attention to the problems associated with climate change and to call for the careful use of energy resources.

As part of the event, the architectural and artistic lighting on the buildings of Kiev, Belarusian, Riga, Savelovsky, Kursk, Kazan, Yaroslavl and Paveletsky stations in Moscow will be switched off for one hour between 20:30 and 21:30.
