Timetable changes to trains No.23 / 24 Moscow - Paris – Moscow due to large-scale industrial strike in France

According to the French national railway company SNCF, the timetable for the 23/452-453/24 Moscow – Paris – Moscow train has been temporarily changed due to a mass strike by transport workers throughout France.

On 22 March 2018, train No.23 Moscow – Paris, departing from Moscow on 21 March 2018, will only travel as far as Strasburg station.

Passengers with tickets to Paris-Est station are encouraged to use the local high-speed trains from Strasburg to Paris to continue their trip.

Passengers do not need to purchase additional tickets for these trains and can travel under their available tickets for train No. 23/452 Moscow – Paris.

Train No. 24/453 Paris – Moscow, departing from France on 22 March 2018, will depart from Strasburg station instead of Paris-Est station.

Given the possible interruptions in the train timetable in connection with the strike, passengers are invited to use high-speed trains for transfer to Strasburg. The timetable is given below.

To ensure a convenient change, SNCF staff at Paris-Est station will meet Russian train passengers from 3 pm.

In view of these significant disruptions in the operation of of all types of rail transport, the employees of the Federal Passenger Company are monitoring the situation and are in constant communication with the train crew, SNCF employees and the General Representative Office of Russian Railways in France.

The Federal Passenger Company asks passengers for their understanding regarding the situation and to plan the routes of their trips through France on the dates indicated in good time.
