In his welcoming speech, Oleg Belozerov emphasised the importance of constructive
interaction between the Company and the constituent entities of the Russian Federation.
"It is difficult to overestimate the importance for Russia’s railways of
cooperation with the regions that lie in the area under the responsibility of the
Sverdlovsk Main Line. Because of its geographical location, industrial potential and
the availability of high-tech production complexes in the field of railway engineering,
the subjects of the Ural District and Perm Territory are extremely important partners
for Russian Railways," said the Company CEO.
According to Belozerov, the role of regional authorities is especially important

on the economy not only of individual subjects of the Federation, but on the country
as a whole.
At the training ground of Sverdlovsk Railways, this concerns above all the construction
of the Northern Latitudinal Railway between Obskaya – Salekhard – Nadym
and the development of the Perm transport hub.
In the course of the Assembly’s work, the participants will discuss a wide
range of issues to ensure the availability of railway and commercial infrastructure
for the clients of Russian Railways, the implementation of the Digital Rail project,
the optimisation of basic technological processes and the increase of labour productivity.
The main aspects of the Holding Company’s personnel policy will also be considered
within the framework of the event.
